The importance of a consistent IT infrastructure.
Axis Technology is a comprehensive data management provider to Johnson Controls, Inc., a global leader in innovative automobile interiors. The company aims to build energy-efficient products and services that enhance comfort and security, while Johnson Control’s Battery Division produces units for automobiles and hybrid electric vehicles.

We have worked with Johnson Controls’ Information Technology group to provide data center design, engineering and installation for all its automotive manufacturing facilities in North America.  We have also provided similar services for the corporation’s Battery Division.

Our work with Johnson Controls is a strong example of the important role Axis Technology plays in ensuring standardized (identical) data centers throughout an entity’s global presence.  In an era of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, we are on the ground floor whenever Johnson Controls, or any corporate client, acquires a facility.  Documentation, blueprints, structural analysis, geophysical and power assessment, and “a look around the neighborhood” all lead to quality design and engineering of a comprehensive infrastructure plan.  When installed and executed, any of the firm’s IT personnel can go to any worldwide Johnson Controls facility and work within a consistent infrastructure and consistent platform.  A recent example is Johnson Control’s new Toyota-focused facility in San Antonio, Texas.
